Material swirls in cyclone and won't drop down into drum.
Hose connections not tight.
Due to the varied hose diameters, fl exible couplers
can be used. They are available at local hardware
stores in the plumbing section.
To Prevent Tipping Problems
Some models of vacs with a short wheel base can become sligthly unstable
with the addition of a 5 gal. pail. To prevent this you can do the following:
Position one of the vac wheels directly under the
5 gal. pail to increase the center of gravity.
Position a weight (eg. brick) on the opposite side
of the vac from the 5 gal. pail to counter-balance
the pail.
Attach the 5 gal. pail to the vacuum and add a
caster to the bottom of the pail for support and
mobility..
To Prevent Hose Pull Off
The inlet and outlet of the Dust Deputy are shouldered and tapered to adapt
to a range of vac hose sizes. If on your model the friction fi t isn't as tight as
needed you can do the following:
Wrap the inlet and outlet of the Dust Deputy with a layer of electrical tape
to increase the friction fi t.
Secure with a hose clamp.
Secure with a sheet metal screw.
