Configuring Endpoints

An endpoint represents an application component to which the system delivers
outbound transactions. The following table lists the system available endpoints.

MXIFACETABLE
MXXMLFILE
MXCMDLINE
Perform the following steps to configure an endpoint:
Define the handler
Define the endpoint
Associate a handler to the endpoint
Optional: Define handler properties for the endpoint
The handler defines the properties needed, and the endpoint provides the values
for those properties. Use the predefined handlers or create new ones to enable
additional physical entities, such as FTP servers.

endpoints, refer to the online help in the End Points application.
Handler
Description
FLATFILE
Writes flat files to a specified
directory location.
IFACETABLE
Writes outbound transactions to
local interface tables.
XMLFILE
Writes XML files to a specified
directory location.
CMDLINE
Implements the CMDL handler.
Takes a command and endpoint as
input and uses the SSH protocol to
invoke the command on the target
system and return the results.
