Control Cable
Asaresultof boththe control c ableandtheaugerdrivebelt stretching dueto
wear,periodic adjustments maybe necessary. If the augerseems to hesitatewhen
rotating,proceed asfollows:
1.
Theupperholeinthe controlhandleprovides f or anadjustment i n cable
tension. T oadjust,disconnect the endofcontrolcablefrom the bottomhole
inthe controlhandle andrelnsertit inthe upperhole.Insertthe cablefrom
the outside asshownin Figure 15.

Chute Assembly

AugerDriveBelt Replacement
1.
Run the snowthroweruntil the fuel tank isempty.
2.
Pullthe recoil s tarterhandle until resistance i sfelt. Thentip the snow
throwerbackuntil it restson the handles.
3.
Slideaboardupthroughthe augerandthroughthe chuteto secure the
augerinplace.
4.
Remove t he beltcoverby removing the twohexwasher screws andonehex
lockscrewthatsecure it to the frame.SeeFigure 16.
