LINK is valid on the fiber segment, then LINK is ON for both ports of the 14E.
If LINK is not present on the copper side but is valid for the fiber side, the Pass-
through feature causes the LINK LED on the fiber port to blink rapidly to indicate there is a
LINK problem elsewhere. If LINK Receive is invalid on the fiber side, LINK will be OFF on
Fiber and ON for copper because the Pass-through does not apply to fiber-to-copper.
Each LINK LED, then, may be OFF or ON or Blinking. If it is Blinking, the Pass-
through feature is indicating a LINK problem on another cable segment and you should check
the cable connections and device power-on conditions accordingly.
