On power up, the STAT LED flashes rapidly for five
seconds, during which time the user may escape to boot
mode from the CONSOLE port.

Power is on, but the self-test failed or the boot code could
not be booted.
Off
Port is administratively disabled or does not have a
connection.
Green (solid)
Port is enabled and has a connection.
Amber (flashing)
Port has activity (transmit or receive).
Off
No NIM/VIM installed or interface is administratively down.
Green (solid)
NIM/VIM module is up and everything is okay.
