Stitch Balance
Use the stitch length control _) to adjust stitch density.
Turn the dial in direction (_) for a coarser density (_).
Turn the dial in direction (_ for a tighter depsity (_).

are not balanced,
do the
following:
If the buttonhole looks like _-_, move the lever with the
screw driver to the right ( + ) to make the right side of
the buttonhole less dense (see illustration).
If the buttonhole looks like (_), move the lever with the
screw driver to the left ( - ) to make the right side of
the buttonhole denser..
