Oven racks
and
convection
roasting rack
Clean the oven racks and the convection
roasting rack with an abrasive cleanser or steel
wool. After cleaning, rinse the racks and rack
with clean water and dry with a clean cloth°
NOTES:
e The oven racks and convection roastir_g rack may be

will darker_ ir_ colo_; lose their luster arid become
hard to slide if clear_ed durir_g the selfclear_ir_g
qyc#. _u can wipe the rack supports with cookir_g
oil after se!/:c#anir_g to make the racks slide more
easily.

Do not clean tlle broil element. Any soil will
burn off when tile element is heated.
To clean the area below the bake element,
gently lift the element and clean with warm,
soapy water.
Broiler pan
Do r_ot clear_the bmibr par_ or gvid ir_ a
se_:clear_ ir_gover_.
Af*er broiling, remove tile broiler pan flom the
oven. Remove tile grid flom tile pan. Carefidly
pour out tlle grease flom tile pan into a proper
container.
Wash and rinse the broiler pan and grid in hot
water with a soap-filled or plastic scouring pad.
If fbod has burned on, sprinkle tlle grid with
detergent while hot and cover with wet paper
towels or a dishcloth° Soaking the pan will
remove burned-on foods.

After broiling, remove the broiler pan from the oven.
Both the broiler pan and grid may be cleaned
with a commercial oven cleaner.
Both tlle broiler pan and grid can also be
cleaned in a dishwasher.

Clean up splatters with a damp cloth.
You may also use a glass cleaner.
Remove heavier soil with warm soapy water.
Do not use abrasives of any kind.
Reactivate the touch pads after cleanir_g'.
