ARCING
If you see arcing, open the door and correct
the problem.
Arcing is the microwave
term for sparks in the
oven. Arcing is caused
by:
* Metal or foil touching
the side of tile oven.
* Foil not molded
to food (upturned
edges act
like anmnnas).
* Metal, such as twist-ties, poultry
pins or goM-
rimmed
dishes in tile oven.
* Recycled
paper
towels containing
small metal
pieces being
used in the oven.

Liquids
such as wateL cofIee or tea are able to be
overheamd
beyond
the boiling
point without
appearing
to be boiling. Visible bubbling
or
boiling when tile container
is removed

microwave

LIQUIDS
SUDDENLY
BOILING
OVER WHEN
THE CONTAINER
IS DISTURBED
OR A
UTENSIL
IS INSERTED

Keep the oven vent unobstructed.
Before self-cleaning the oven, remove the
broiler pan, grid, racks and other cool<ware.
Be sure to wipe up excess
spillage
before
starting
the self-cleaning
operation.
If the self-cleaning
mode
malfunctions,

the oven off and disconnect
tile power supply.
Have it se_wiced by a qualified
technician.
Listen

during
the cleaning
cycle. If not, call
