Open Job

This option provides another way of opening a GIS job. It is
similar to selecting the Open Existing Job option that is prompt-
ed on the screen after pressing the LOG button when no job is
open yet. Selecting this option when a job is already open al-
lows you to close the currently open job and open another one.

New Job

This option provides another way of creating a new GIS job. It
is similar to selecting the Create New Job option that is prompt-
ed on the screen after pressing the LOG button when no job is
open yet.

Mark

This option allows you to quickly create a new waypoint whose
coordinates will be those of your current location.
A typical use of this option is when you are located at a new
point of interest and you wish to log its position.
When you select Mark in the menu list, MobileMapper Pro dis-
plays the Mark screen with the following default values:
Default icon in the Icon field

- "WPTxxx" as waypoint name in the Name field. "xxx" is a
number that MobileMapper Pro automatically increments
as you create new waypoints
- Coordinates of your current location in the Location and
Elevation fields
If you agree with all these parameters, and as the Save field is
already selected at the bottom of the screen, you just have to
press ENTER to create the new waypoint. This is the fastest
procedure to create a new waypoint.
On the other hand, if you have to change any of these param-
eters or add a comment in the Message field, then you have
first to edit the corresponding fields before selecting the Save
field and pressing ENTER
