Copying, Cutting, and Pasting
Design Components
You can use a variety of methods to copy design components in
your designs.
To copy to the clipboard:
1 Select one or more design components you want to copy.
2 To copy design components to the clipboard, do one of the
following:
 In the Clipboard area on the Home tab, click on the Copy
button.
 In the design workspace, right-click on the selection and
choose Copy from the menu.
 Press Ctrl + C.
The design components are copied to the clipboard.
3 To paste design components from the clipboard, do one of
the following:
 In the Clipboard area on the Home tab, click on the
Paste
button.
 In the design workspace, right-click anywhere and
choose Paste from the menu.
 Press Ctrl + V.
To cut to the clipboard:
1 Select one or more design components you want to cut.
2 To cut design components to the clipboard, do one of the
following:
 In the Clipboard area on the Home tab, click on the Cut
button.
 In the design workspace, right-click on the selection and
choose Cut from the menu.
 Press Ctrl+X.
The design components are removed from their location.
