5. Lift the cartridge out of the printer and dispose of it
according to your local garbage disposal regulations. Do
not take the used cartridge apart or try to refill it.

If ink gets on your hands, wash them thoroughly with
soap and water. If ink gets into your eyes, flush them
immediately with water.
6. Make sure the replacement ink cartridge is the correct one,
color or black. Remove the ink cartridge from its protective
bag. Next, remove only the yellow tape seal from the
cartridge as shown below.
Do not remove the white
portion of the tape

You must remove the yellow tape seals from the
cartridges. If you attempt to print using a cartridge
with the yellow tape seal still attached, the cartridge
may become unusable. It's OK if the yellow tape does
not completely tear off along the dotted line.

Do not remove the white portion of the tape seal from
the top of the cartridge; otherwise, the cartridge may
become clogged and you cannot print with it.

Do not remove the tape seal from the bottom of the
cartridge; otherwise, ink will leak.
