Making Changes to Printer Driver Settings

Accessing the printer software will show you the following
printer driver setting menus (tabs) as well as the Utility menu.
Main
Mode, Media Type, Ink
Paper size, Copies, Orientation, Printable Area
Paper
Layout
Proportional Printing, Print Layout, Watermark
The layout menu is available only for Windows 95 and NT 4.0
users.

Using the Automatic Setting

When Automatic is selected on the Main menu, the printer
driver takes care of all detailed settings according to the Media
Type and Ink settings you make (see page 4-10 for details on
the Media Type settings). So, Media Type and Ink are the only
settings you need to make by yourself. Most Windows
applications feature paper size and page layout settings which
override similar settings on the Paper menu, but if your
application does not, you should verify the settings on the
Paper menu.
