USER MENU is factory-set. The menu can be
USER MENU:
configured to suit your preferences by
specifying each option according to your
purposes and frequency of use, through the
<USER MENU SELECT> screen, which is
accessible from the MAIN MENU page.

To display USER MENU, press the MENU
button.
Allows you to set all options on the settings
MAIN MENU:
menu.
This menu has a category-by-category
structure, layered according to purposes and
frequency of use.
To display MAIN MENU, press the MENU
button for three seconds or longer.
SYSTEM SETTING:
This option is used to specify recording signal,
recording system, etc.
This option is used to fine-adjust images while
PAINT:
monitoring the output waveform of the
camera, using the waveform monitor.
Normally, this adjustment requires assistance
from a video engineer.
This menu option may be set with an external
remote controller, and is useful when using
the unit without a sound recordist.
Used to select the information items to be
VF:
displayed in the viewfinder screen.
CAM OPERATION:
Used to change settings according to the
conditions for the subject.
MAIN OPERATION:
Used to specify recording-related items, such
as audio settings, time code, battery and P2
card remaining amounts.
Used to specify file-related items such as SD
FILE:
memory card reading/writing and lens file
settings.
MAINTENANCE:
Used to specify maintenance-related items.
USER MENU SELECT:
Used to edit USER MENU.
Provides options which may be needed if
OPTION MENU:
functions are added in the future.
To display OPTION MENU, hold down the
LIGHT button and press the MENU button.
