Configuring PCs in Windows 2000

Go to Start / Settings / Control
In
the
Panel.
double-click Network and Dial-up
Connections.

Double-click Local Area ("LAN")
Connection. (See Figure 3.5)

In the LAN Area Connection Status
window, click Properties. (See Figure
3.6)
4.
Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
and click Properties. (See Figure 3.7)
5.
Select the Obtain an IP address
and
automatically
server address automatically radio
buttons. (See Figure 3.8)
6.
Click OK to finish the configuration.
