(depending on model)
To take the baking trays or the roast-
ing / grill pan out of the oven, or to put
them into it.
(depending on model)
To be placed in the grill pan when grill-
ing.
The juices from the food being grilled
are gathered under the anti-splash tray,
rather than being dried out, and they
can then be used in sauces etc.
(depending on model)
When pushing the baking trays, grill
pan or rack into the oven, make
sure that the telescopic carriage is
pushed completely in.
If you wish to use only the lowest run-
ner level for cooking, the side rails can
be taken out.
This has the advantage of:
– making more space available inside
the oven, for larger roasting tins.
– keeping the side rails clean.
Depending on model your appliance
may be fitted with a catalysor.
The catalysor is built in to the oven's
cooling system.
The catalysor filters fatty vapours and
reduces food smells.
