Operation

Operation
The grill is divided into two heating
areas. Each element is regulated by an
energy control. When the controls are
switched on the relevant indicator light
will come on. The power of the heating
elements can be freely adjusted.
Switching the grill on
Switch the grill on by turning one or
both controls to a setting.
The controls can be turned either clock-
wise or anti-clockwise.
The heating element indicator light
comes on.
The figures 1-12 are settings.
From settings 1-11 respectively, the
heating element becomes progress-
ively hotter and the selected tem-
perature is automatically controlled.
On setting 12, the heating element is
fully heated and brought to glowing
point.

Grilling and keeping food warm
The separate control of the two parts of
the grill makes it possible, . . .
. . . to grill meat etc. on the front area,
. . . and keep already grilled food hot
on the rear area.
For example sausages can be grilled
and then kept hot.
See the chart on page 9 for a more
detailed description of which setting to
use for which foods.
The grill is fitted with two removable
stainless steel racks. By turning the
racks over, it is possible to grill at two
different heights over the heating ele-
ments. Select
the lower rack position
for flat foodstuffs.
the higher rack position
for larger items of food which take
longer to cook.
After grilling / keeping food hot
To switch the grill off
Turn the controls back to setting "0".
The indicator lights go out.
If there is heavy soiling on the heating
element
turn the controls to setting "12".
Any food remains should be com-
pletely burnt off after about 10
minutes.
Turn the controls back to setting "0".
Should any particles still remain,
they can be removed with a wire
brush.
