and to the drecton E when the wndng amount of the bobbn
thread on the upper part of the bobbn s excessve.
After the adjustment, tghten nut 5 .
7) To adjust the tenson of the bobbn wnder, turn the thread ten-
son nut 7 .

) Insert the bobbn deep nto the bobbn wnder
spndle 1 untl t wll go no further.
2) Pass the bobbn thread pulled out from the spool
rested on the rght sde of the thread stand follow-
ing the order as shown in the figure on the left.
Then, wnd clockwse the end of the bobbn thread
on the bobbn several tmes. (In case of the alum-
num bobbn, after wndng clockwse the end of the
bobbn thread, wnd counterclockwse the thread
comng from the bobbn thread tenson several
tmes to wnd the bobbn thread wth ease.)
3) Press the bobbn wnder trp latch 2 n the d-
recton of A and start the sewng machne. The
bobbn rotates n the drecton of C and the bobbn
thread s wound up. The bobbn wnder spndle 1
automatically as soon as the winding is finished.
4) Remove the bobbn and cut the bobbn thread
wth the thread cut retaner 3 .
5) When adjustng the wndng amount of the bob-
bn thread, loosen setscrew 4 and move bobbn
wndng lever 2 to the drecton of A or B. Then
tghten setscrew 4 .
To the drecton of A : �ecrease
To the drecton of B : Increase
6�) When the bobbn s not evenly wound wth
thread, loosen nut 5 and adjust the heght of
bobbn wnder tenson dsk 6 .
• It s the standard that the center of the bobbn s as
hgh as the center of thread tenson dsk 6 .
• Adjust the poston of thread tenson dsk 6 to
the drecton of D when the wndng amount of
1. When winding the bobbin thread, start the winding
in the state that the thread between the bobbin and
thread tension disk 6 is tense.
2. When winding the bobbin thread in the state that sew-
ing is not performed, remove the needle thread from
the thread path of thread take-up and remove the bob-
bin from the hook.
3. There is the possibility that the thread pulled out from
the thread stand is loosened due to the influence (di-
rection) of the wind and may be entangled in the hand-
wheel. Be careful of the direction of the wind.
4. Slackened part of the thread can get tangled on the
pulley. It is recommended, in order to avoid the above-
stated trouble, to wind the bobbin on the F side which
is located far from the motor.
