Manual Dialing
You manually dial a call by pressing the number buttons on the keypad the same
way you dial a telephone call. You usually manually dial numbers that arenÕt in
your Dialing Directory.
With video calls, you often have to enter two numbers instead of
F.Y.I.
F Y I
one. This is because ISDN BRI network connections often consist
of two lines within one ISDN cable. Typically these numbers are
very similar or exactly the same.
If you know the site youÕre calling has a Local Area Network (LAN) extension,
skip this section and go to ÒDialing with a LAN ExtensionÓ on page 22.
To manually dial a call:
1. Press
CALL/ADD.
The Dialing Directory screen appears.
