Using the Probe for Roosting

How to set
the oven
for roosting
when using
the probe
1 Insert the probe into the food. See the Using the Probe section.
2 Plug the probe into the outlet in the oven. Make sure it's pushed all the
way in. Closethe oven door.
3 Touch PROBE.
4 For double oven models only, touch UPPER OVENor LOWEROVENto
select the desired oven.
5 Touch OK.
6 Touch the numbers to set the desired internal food or meat
temperature. (Themaximum internal temperature for the
food that you can set is 200%.)
7 Touch ENTER.
8 Touch BAKE.
9 Touch the numbers to set the desired oven temperature.
10 Touch ENTER.
11 Touch START.
The oven will turn on immediately and stay on until the oven is
turned off.
The convection fan will turn on (after a short delay) and 100°Fwill appear in
the screen. (Thetemperature display will start to change once the internal
temperature of the meat reaches 100°F.)
After the internal temperature of the meat reaches 100°F,the changing
internal temperature will be shown in the display.
12 When the internal temperature of the meat reaches the number
you have set, the probe and the oven turn off and the oven control
signals.To stop the signal, touch the CLEAR/OFFpad. Use hot pads to
remove the probe from the food. Do not use tongs to pull on it-
they might damage it.
For double oven models only, to set the second oven, select PRESS TO
MAKELOWEROVEN SELECTIONS or PRESS TO MAKEUPPER OVEN
SELECTIONS as needed and follow the above steps.
The set temperature may be changed by touching CHANGE
TIME-TEMPfor the appropriate oven.
The settings may be cancelled by touching CANCELfor the appropriate
oven.
The timer can be set by touching SETKITCHENTIMER.

A CAUTION:
Toprevent possible burns, do not unplug the probe
from the oven outlet until the oven has cooled. Oo not store the probe in the
oven.
. If the probe is removed from the food before the final temperature is
reached, a tone will sound and the screen will prompt until the probe is
removed from the oven.
. You can use the timer even thoughyou cannot usetimed oven operations.
On double oven models only.
