Lifting & Placing
Straining or crushing injury
may occur from improperly
lifting machine or some of
its parts. To reduce this risk,
get help from other people
and use a fork lift (or other
lifting equipment) rated for
weight of this machine.

required to lift and place the mill.
To move your machine into position:
1.
Move shipping crate next to mounting loca-
tion, then unbolt machine from pallet.
2.

position table as close to column as possible,
and adjust headstock to its lowest position.

Note: Before next step, make sure all locks
are tight to avoid sudden shifts which could
unbalance machine.

With help of additional people to steady load,
slowly lift machine, remove pallet, then lower
machine into position.
