General Information for the HBA Port
The top portion of the Diagnostics page for an HBA port provides general
information about the port, as shown in
HBA port-identifying information on the top of the Diagnostics page includes the
following:
HBA Model
State
HBA iSCSI Name
iSCSI Port Alias
Name
IPv4 Address

HBA instance number and HBA model.
The HBA port state. For details about the HBA port state
and its correspondence with the HBA icons, see the help
topic,
Green background
port is operational and ready.
Yellow background
port is not in an operational state.
Blue background
port is processing an operation. The state remains
unknown until the operation is complete. After the
operation is complete, the state changes to green,
yellow, or red based on the results of the operation.
Red background
not available.
HBA port iSCSI name. The QLogic manufacturing default
name or a name that you assign.
HBA port iSCSI alias name. Symbolic name you assign to
the HBA port for identification purposes.
IP address of the HBA port.
