Controlling with the remote control
Without using "operation menu icon" on the Now Playing view, iPod
can be operated directly with the remote control.
Press the cursor keys (<diD) to adjust the setting.

Starts playing back the selected song.

External Searches backwards, while the button is

Searches forwards, while tile button is pressed.
Skips to the beginning of the now playing song,
or to the previous playing song.
Skips to the next song.
Shuffle/repeat playback
Make a setting for playing iPod in random order or repeatedly.
Select "USB" or "DOCK" as the input source, and
then press OPTION.
Off Turns off the shuffle function.
Plays back songs in random order.
Songs [_ Shuffle icon appears on the Now Playing
Shuffle view (p.50).
Plays back albums in random order.
Albums _ Shuffle icon appears on the Now Playing
view (p.50).
Off Turns off the repeat function.
Plays back a song repeatedly.
One _ Repeat One icon appears on the Now
Repeat Playing view (p.50).
Plays back all songs in a directory.
All _ Repeat All icon appears on the Now
Playing view (p.50).
Press OPTION to close the menu.
Press the cursor keys (A/v) to select "Shuffle" or
"Repeat."
3 Press ENTER.
• Press RETURN to return to the previous display while operating the menu.
