I am trying to get the Rcvr to display a setup menu on the TV. The TV shows info when Net radio is playing, so HDMI is connected. When I push setup, the rcvr says 'screen is off'.

To display the setup menu on a Yamaha RX-V575 receiver when the screen is off, ensure the TV is connected to the receiver via an HDMI cable. The menu can only be shown on the TV when connected through HDMI. If the TV input is set to another source, switch it to the HDMI input linked to the receiver.
