White
balance
refers
to the correctness
of color
reproduction
under
various
lighting.

automatically.

you can reset

Reset

Balance

In Record Standby mode, set the EASY/
MAN[/AL/AUPO switch to MANUAL
Hold
a sheet
of plain
white
paper
in front
of
the camcorder
lens.
Adjust
the distance
so that
the white
paper
fills the
screen.
Note: It may be difficult
to focus on the
white paper. In such a case, adjust focus
manually
(see page 98).
Press the
W/B button
to s_,t the white,
balance.

the camcorder
is
locking
the white
balance.
• W/B LOCKwill appear
when white balance
locking is complete.
Press the
WiB button
to exit white
balance
lock.
Notes."
If WHITE BAL does not stop flashing,
press the W/B button
to cancel white
balance.
The camcorder
will return
to AUTO
White Balance mode if a scene setting
is selected and then canceled.
Manual
White Balance cannot be used
with Night Mode.
