_Important:
The cursor
automatically
moves to the word "Date." Turn the
ADJUST
dial to set the date. Turn the shuttle
ring right.

The cursor
automatically
moves to the word "Clock." The hour
numbers
and the am/pm indicator
will be blinking.
Turn the
ADJUST
dial to set the hour and andpm
at: the same time.
Turning
the dial right moves the clock tbrward;
turning
the
dial left moves the clock backwards.
Turn the shuttle
ring right.
The minutes
numbers
will now be blinking.
Turn the
ADJUST
dial to set: the minutes.
When you have set the
correct time, turn the shuttle
ring right.
O
The cursor automatically
moves to the words "Daylight
savings."
If you are currently
following
Daylight
Savings
Time, use the ADJUST
dial to select "ON":; otherwise,
use the
ADJUST
dial to select "OFF." Turn the shuttle
ring right; the
display
will return
to the "First
Time Set-Up"
menu and the
clock will start
running.

Press the MENU
button
ollce to return
to the "VCR Main
Menu"; press the MENU
button
again to turn off the menus.

You can adjust
the Daylight
Savings
Time setting
without
enter-
ing the menus. With the VCR turned
off, pres_ the INPUT
button
on the front panel. If Daylight
Savings
is currently
ON, this will
turn it off and set the clock back one hour. If it is currently
OFF,
this will turn it on and set the clock forward
one hour. Each time
you press the INPUT
button,
the Daylight
Savings
setting
will
switch between
"ON" and "OFF." Any time you adjust
this
setting,
check your programmed
recordings
to be sure they are set
to the correct time.
If you want to adjust
the clock when your VCI_ is in stand-by
for
programmed
recording,
simply
press the POWER
button
on the
front panel. This turns
off the programmed
cecording
light, but
the VCR will remain
turned
off. When you fin!sh adjusting
the
clock, press the POWER
button
again, and m_!_ke sure that the
programmed
recording
light is back on.
If you have a Mitsubishi
TV with both Active ._/V Network
and
"StarSight"
features,
you don't have to set the time on your VCR.
