Jog dial

still frame, turn
the jog dial while
holding
down the ONE KEY PROGRAM
button
on the front pane]
until the picture
is steady.
Selecting the On-screen Language
You can set your VCR to display
on-screen
mes_;ages, menus,
and
functions
in English
or French.
You should do this before you use
the menus
or set any audio/video
functions.
Before you begin, you need to know:
•
how to view the picture
coming from your VCR. (See page 25.)

Make sure you are viewing
the picture
com=ng from your
VCR. Then, press the MENU
button
on the remote
control. If
this is the first time the menus
have been used, you will see
the menu for selecting
an on-screen
lan_lai,_e.
Turn the ADJUST
dial on the remote
control to move the
cursor
next to the desired
hmguage.
Turn the shuttle
ring right on the remot_
control. The menu
will change
to the '_VCR Main Menu."
Press the MENU button
to exit the menus.
_Important:
The "Select Language"
menu is unique.
While all other menus
can
be accessed
at almost
any time, the "Select LarLguage" menu will
not automatically
appear
again
after it is first set. To see the
"Select Language"
menu,
press the TIMER RESET
button
on the
back of the VCR, then follow the procedure
on _:his page.
Usingthe Audioand Video Functions
You can use the remote
control to select many
of the VCR's audio
and video functions
and adjust
their settings.
_?he VCR will
display
the settings
on the television's
screen.
This section
will teach you about:

of video functions.
The audio functions
you can adjust
are:
