9. DEFECTIVE ITS (Integ=ated lelephone System) SEC[ION
9-1. NO HANDSET and SPEAKERPHONE TRANSMISSION / RECEPTION
Following the ITS section (Refer to page 131 .) or NCU section (Refer to page 125.), search tor the point in the route betwe_
the handset microphone and the telephone line (sending) or between the telephone line and the handset speaker (receiving)
or between the microphone and the telephone line (sending) or between the telephone line and the speaker (receiving)
where the signal disappears, and check the components at that point.
9-2. NO PULSE DIAL
Is the voltage at
pin 97 or pin 98 of
ICl change between
high level/low level?

Check pulse dial
circuit.

tween the gate array (IC404) and
speaker where the signal disappears,
and check the components at that point.
9-4. NO TONE DIALING
Does a DTMF signal
appear at pin 44 of
IC405 (Digital
board)?
I YES
Following the NCU section
and ITS section (Refer to
pages 125, 131.), search for
the point in the route between
the IC405 (pin 44) and
telephone jack (Tip/Ring)
where the signal disappears,
and check the components at
that point.
