onelineshouldnotexceed five(5).Tobecertainofthe numberofdevices y ou
mayconnect t oyourline,asdetermined bythe REN, y oushouldcontactyour
localtelephone company to determine the maximumRENforyourcallingarea.
Ifyourfaxdamages the telephone network, t he telephone company maydiscon-
tinueyourservice temporarily. Ifpossible, t heywillnotify youin advance. B utif
advanced noticeisnotpractical, y ouwillbe notified assoonaspossible. Y ou will
be informed ofyourrighttofilea complaint w iththeFCC.
Yourtelephone company maymakechangesto itsfacilities, e quipment, o pera-
tionsorprocedures t hat couldaffect t heproperfunctioningofyourequipment. I f
theydo,youwillbe notified in advanceto giveyouan opportunity to maintain
uninterrupted telephone service.
