Installation Instructions
CONNECTING A GAS DRYER (skip for electric dryers)
TOOLS AND MATERIALS YOU WILL
NEED FOR CONNECTING THE GAS
SUPPLY
C1Flat- or straight-blade screwdriver (may be
needed for cord strain relief)
C1Flexible stainless steel or plastic-coated
brass connecting tube (if allowed by
building code)
C1Open-end wrenches for flexible tube and
connector
C1Adjustable pliers (to adjust leveling legs)
C1Pipe wrench for holding dryer gas inlet
while attaching adapter elbow
C1Adjustable wrenches (2) for tightening
connections
FOR YOUR SAFETY:
-&WARNING
Before beginning the installation, turn off
the circuit breaker(s) or remove the dryer's
circuit fuse(s) at the electrical box. Be sure
the dryer cord is unplugged from the wall.
Turn the dryer's gas shutoff valve in the
supply line to the OFF position.

connector and ducting material.
