Remote Switch Tab (Optional Software)

The REMOTE SWITCH feature can only be implemented in a fabric

that contains exactly two switches.
You can use the Remote Switch feature to configure a pair of switches to
operate over an extended WAN interface. This enables the switches to
communicate across an ATM network by using a compatible Fibre Channel
to an ATM gateway. For detailed information on the Remote Switch
feature, see the Distributed Fabrics User's Guide.
You can use the Remote Switch tab to enable or disable the Remote Switch
feature on the selected switch.
