When
you press tile
shutter-release
button
halfway,
tile flash will automatically
pop up if the conditions
required
for flash photography
are met.

dim, the flash automatically pops up when the
shutter-release button is pressed halfway. The
camera determines whether or not the flash
pops up based on the brightness of the subject

The flash fires when a picture is taken, regardless of how bright the subject is. Use to
"fill-in" (illuminate)

Auto is combined with a slow shutter speed. Suitable for portraits of human
subjects shot at night or under dim light. Flash illuminates main subject; slow
shutter speeds are used to capture background.
