Using the Flash (Flash Modes)
You carl set a flash mocte that suits tile shooting
conditions.

selector.

to select the desired
mode
and press
the
@ button.

is not pressed within a few seconds,
the selection will be canceled.

afew seconds,regardlessof Photo info settings

3 Frame the subject a ndtakea picture.
• The flash lamp indicates the status of the flash when
the shutter-release button is pressed halfway.
- On:
The flash will fire when you press the
shutter-release button all the way.
- Flashing:The flash is charging. The camera cannot
take pictures.
- Off:
The flash will not fire when a picture is
taken.
• If the battery is low, the monitor will betumed
offwhile
the flash is charging.

The flash has a range of about
0,5 to 5,1 m (1 ft 8 in, to 16 ft) for wide
angle position,
and about
1,5 to
3.0 m (5 ft to 9 ft 10 in.) for telephoto
zoom
position
(when
ISO sensitivity
is set to Auto).
