The indicator
showing

of exposures

flashes while
images are being

indicator
is flashing.
Doing this could result in loss of data, or in damage
to the camera

on Movie
Recording
• When
saving a movie
onto
a memory
card, a memory
card with an SD speed class of Class 6 or
higher
is recommended

I cJ).If the transfer speed of the card is slow, the movie
recording
may
end unexpectedly,
• Using the digital
zoom causes image quality
to deteriorate,
When recording
ends, digitalzoom
turns off.
• The sound
of using the zoom
control
or zoom, autofocus,
vibration
reduction
or aperture
control
when
the brightness
changes
may be recorded.
• The following
phenomena
may be seen on the monitor
while
recording
movies. These
phenomena
are saved in the recorded
movies.
Banding
may occur
in images under fluorescent,
mercury
vapor, or sodium
vapor
lighting
Subjects
that move quickly
from one side of the frame to the other, such as a moving
train or
car, may appear
skewed
The entire
movie
image
may be skewed
when the camera
is panned
Lighting
or other
bright
areas may leave residual
images
when the camera
is moved

Temperature
• The camera
may become
warm when
recording
movies for an extended
period
of time or when
the camera
is used in a hot area,
• When
the temperature
inside the camera
becomes
extremely
high while
recording
a movie,
recording
automatically
stops after
30 seconds. The remaining
amount
of recording
time
(4_30 s) is
displayed
on the monitor,
The camera
turns off in five seconds

recording
automatically
stops,

Recording
• When
Autofocus
mode

in the movie
menu
is set to
AF-S
Single
AF (default
setting),
the focus is locked

record) button
is pressed to start movie
recording.
• Autofocus
may not perform
as expected
([_]29),
Should
this occur,
try the following:
1. Before
recording,
set Autofocus
mode
in the movie
menu
to AF-S
Single
AF (default
setting),
2, Position
a different
subiect
at the same distance
in the middle
of the screen. Press the
(_1 movie
record) button
to start the movie
recording,
and change
the composition.
