Setting 28: DISTINCTIVE RING
Select YES if you subscribe to a distinctive ring service from your phone
company and wish to have the machine automatically answer and receive
faxes when your fax number is dialled. Select NO to turn the function off.

Setting 29: VERIFICATION STAMP
Select ON if you want the machine to stamp each original document page as
it is scanned. After scanning, you can check to see if all pages have been
stamped to verify that no double feeds occurred. Select OFF to turn the

Use this setting to select the default copying resolution (the resolution used for

Setting 31: SEPARATE MODE
If desired, you can have the fax draw a sheet of paper from one of the paper
sources after each fax reception. By loading coloured (or large) paper in that
source, each coloured sheet drawn will act as a separator that makes it easy
to distinguish where one multi-page document ends and another begins. A
Transaction Report printed after a reception will also be printed from that
paper source to act as a separator sheet. To turn on this function, press
