The SMM_Alert_Sender user is a built-in SMM user account for the ISM software to use
when it sends out-band alerts. The user account information is not editable.
The SMM_Administrator ID is the root SMM user account. You may change only the
password of the account.

Click Add. The User Setup dialog displays.

Type the user's login name in the Login Name box. The user name is case-sensitive and
may have up to eight alphanumeric characters (A-Z, a-z, 0-9).

Type the user's full name in the Full Name box. The user's full name may have up to 32
characters.

Type the password in the New Password and Verify Password boxes. The password may
have up to eight characters.
7.
Select the privilege type (rights) the SMM user account will have. The SMM user
account may have one of the following rights:
Administrator allows users to access information, modify existing temperature and
voltage thresholds, reset or power down the server, and modify the user database.
Read/Write allows users to access information, modify existing temperature and
voltage thresholds, and reset or power down the server.
Read Only allows access to information such as the current temperature or voltage.
8.
Click OK to close the User Setup dialog; then click OK to close the Configure Users
dialog.
