Configuring a Paging Service

If you want to configure Server Monitor to page you when it detects a specific alert (such as a
power failure), you must first configure a paging service.
To configure a paging service:
1.
Start an SMM session and log into the root user account, if you are not already in an
SMM session.
2.
On the Configure menu, select Pager Settings. (You may also double-click Pager Settings
in the Display pane of the LANDesk Manager window.) The Configure Pager Settings
dialog displays.
