[_ 480i]: To use the 480i specification
(standard definition).
[_ 1080i1480i]: To usethe fuii 1080i high
definition specification when possibie, or
switch automaticaiiy to 480i specification
when 1080i is not supported by the TV.
• Seiect the [PLAYBACK STD] and
[COMROUT] settings according to the
specifications you want to use for
piayback on a high-definition TV. Refer to
the tabie beiow.
• When the piayback standard seiected is
different from that of the originai recording,
no video wiii be output.
• This setting wiii be unavaiiabie whiie
the camcorder is connected to an
externai device using the HDMi cabie.

automatically between standards to

HDV wiii be down-converted).
