connect t heFb_MFC toa keysystem ora PBX (Private BranchExchange), w e
suggest t hatyoucontactthe company that installed Nut telephone system and
askthemto connect t heFA_'CJMFC forNu. It is advisable tohavea separateline
fortheFA_'CJMFC. Youcanthenleavethemachinein FAX ONLY M ode to receive
faxesanytimeofdayornight.
IftheFAX/MFC istobe connected t o a multi-linesystem, a skyourinstaller to
connect t heunit tothe lastlineonthe system. T hisprevents t he unitfrombeing
activated eachtimea telephone callisreceived.
As withallfaxtulits, t hismachine mustbeconnected t oa twowire system. Ifyourline
hasmorethantwo wires, proper c onnection o ftheFA;CJMFC cmmot b emade.
