Setthe followingoptionsbased on each document to be scanned, then clickthe
SCAN button to start scanning.
Resolution
Youcan choose oneofthreeresolutions, 200DPISTD, 2 00DPIFINE or 400DPI
S.FINE. T hehigherthenumberofdpi(dotsperinch),theclearertheimagewill
appearonyourPC. Howevel, the sizeoftheimagefileincreases w iththe dpi. Try
scanningatdifferent r esolutions t odetermine thebestresolution foryourneeds.
Contrast
% havethescanneradjustthecontrastautomaticall},; choose Auto.Ifyour
originalistoolight,setthe contrasttoLight.If theoriginalistoodark,setthe
contrasttodark.
Image Type
Ifyouarescanningtextorblackand whitelineart,chooseText a sthe image
type.IfNu're scanninga photoordetailed picturewithmanydifferent c olors,
choose photoasthe imagetype.
