Usingthe probe.
For many foods, especially roasts and poult_ internal food temperature is the best test for doneness. The
temperature probe takes the guesswork out of roasting by cooking foods to the exact doneness you want
The temperature probe has a
skewer-like probe at one end and
a plug at the other end that goes
into the outlet f17 the oven.
Use of probes other than the one
provided with this product may result in

For roasts Mth no bone, insert the probe
into the meatiest part of the roast. For
bone-in lmm ()r lamb, insert the probe
into the center of the lowest large muscle.
Insert the probe into the center of dishes
such as Illeat foal or casseroles.
Insert the probe into the meatiest part (ff
the inner thigh fl'onl below and parallel
to the leg of a whole turkey.
NOTE: Self-dean and Broil settings will not work
if the temperatureprobe is plugged in.

How to Set the Oven ForBaking/RoastingWhenUsing theProbe

Do not use tongs to pull on it--they
might (lmnage it.
_: If the probe is removed from the oven while
probe cooking, the oven will not automatically
turn oK
To change the ()veil temperature during
the Bake/Roast cycle, touch tile
BAKE
pad and then the nund_er pads to set the
new temperature.
