When Problems Occur

How do you cancel a transmission while a document is being scanned?
Press
(Stop) on the control panel, or press [Cancel] on the touch panel
display.
How do you cancel a transmission after the document has been scanned?
Press [System Monitor] ➞ [Fax] ➞ [TX Job Status] ➞ select the document that
you want to cancel ➞ press [Cancel] ➞ [Yes]. However, documents that are
being sent may not be canceled even if you press [Cancel]. (See "Using the
System Monitor Screen," on p. 1-43.)
Are you sending a fax document using the Direct Sending mode?
Press
(Stop) on the control panel, or press [Cancel] on the touch panel
display.
Is the destination setting correct?
Check the destination setting of the recipient.
Is the destination stored in the Address Book correct?
Check the destination in the Address Book. (See "Address Book List," on p.
7-14.)
Has trouble occurred in the remote machine?
Check to make sure that the remote machine can receive documents. If it
cannot, check to see whether the machine is turned OFF, is out of recording
paper, or has insufficient available memory.
