REAR BENCH SEAT
A
The seat base and the seatback may
be folded down (in one or two
sections) to allow bulky objects to
be carried
To fold down the seat base
Lift seat base A, against the front
seats.
• When refitting the seatback, ensure it is correctly locked at the top. If seat covers are being used,
check that they are not preventing the seatback locking mechanism from operating correctly.
• When moving the bench seat, check that the seat belt housings 1 are correctly positioned before
folding down the seat base.
Once the bench seat is in place again, ensure the seat belts are correctly repositioned.

To fold down the seatback
Remove the rear head restraints (if
they are fitted to the vehicle). Press
button 2 and lower the seatback B.

Removing the seat base
Lift the seat base to remove brackets 3
from their housing 4.
To refit the seat base, carry out the
operations in reverse order to
removal. Ensure the seat base is
correctly secured.
