TOWING breakdown

The steering lock must not be
applied; the ignition key must be in
position "M" (ignition) allowing
lights and signals to be used (stop
lights and direction indicators).
The vehicle lights must be used at
night.
It is also important to observe the
towing conditions defined by the
legislation for the particular country
you are in. Do not exceed the towing
weight for your vehicle. Consult
your Renault Dealer.

Only use the towing ring 2 (in the
tool kit 1) and the towing points at
the front 3. (Never use the drive
shafts.) These towing points may
only be used for pulling the car,
never for lifting it either directly or
indirectly.

Front towing point 3
Rear towing point 4
First screw in the towing
ring 2 by hand as far as it
will go. Then use the
wheelbrace from the tool
kit to finish tightening it.
