Opening the bonnet

To open, pull handle 1.

Bonnet safety lock
To unlock, lift lever 2.
Lift the bonnet, release the strut 4
from its mounting 3. For your safety,
this must be placed in location 5.
Closing the bonnet
To close the bonnet, replace strut 4
in its mounting 3, hold the bonnet
in the middle and lower it to 20 cm

above the closed position. Now
release it and it will lock under its
own weight.
Check that the bonnet is correctly
locked.
Check that nothing has been left in
the engine compartment before
closing the bonnet.
Ensure it is correctly
locked.
Take care when working
under the bonnet as the
engine cooling fan may
cut in at any moment.
