Step 5: Set the
Name Service
options
CentreVu CMS Release 3 Version 8 Disk-Mirrored Systems
The following tasks set the name service options.
Task
3
1 No Action Required.
2 a. Select the None option.
b. Click the Continue button.
3 a. Check the information
displayed on the screen. If it
is incorrect, click Change
and return to task 1 of this
table.
b. If the information is correct,
click Continue.
4 Do this task only if the switch is
connected to this computer via
a serial port or HSI card.
a. Select No.
b. Click Continue.
c. Skip the remainder of the
tasks in this table .
5 Do this task and the next only if
the switch is connected to this
computer via a network.
a. Select Yes.
b. Click Continue.
6 a. Enter the appropriate net
mask. The default of
255.255.255.0 is
recommended.
b. Click Continue.

displayed.
The Confirm Information
screen is displayed.
The Subnets screen is
displayed.
The Time Zone screen is
displayed.
The Netmask screen is
