Calibration Security

N O T E
Agilent U1251B/U1252B User's and Service Guide
The calibration security code prevents accidental or
unauthorized adjustments to the instrument. When you first
receive your instrument, it is secured. Before you can adjust
the instrument, you must unsecure it by entering the correct
security code (see
"Unsecuring the instrument for
calibration"
on page 134).
The security code is set to 1234 when the instrument is
shipped from the factory. This code is stored in nonvolatile
memory, and does not change when power is turned off.
The security code may contain up to 4 numeric characters.
You can unsecure the instrument from the front panel. The security code
can only be changed from the front panel after the instrument has been
unsecured.
See
"To unsecure the instrument without the security code"
you forget your security code.
