To secure the power supply to the chassis, tighten the

four spring-loaded screws (Figure 42) to a Torque
Specification of from 5 to 7 in/lb (inch-pounds).
Plug one end of the power cord into the socket on

the power supply and then plug the other end into
the electrical outlet.

Set the power supply's On/Off switch ( |

For the 16-slot chassis, attach the power supply

With both hands, grasp the bezel and face the

Use the guide pins on the bezel and push the bezel

straight in to secure it to the front of the chassis.
The CoreBuilder 9000 Enterprise Switch 8-slot chassis
can accommodate up to three –48-volt DC power
supplies. The 16-slot chassis can accommodate up to
four –48-volt DC power supplies.
