ATM Switch Fabric Module

The CoreBuilder 9000 ATM Enterprise Switch ATM
switch fabric module supports enterprise backbones
and high-density data center applications. It can
switch up to 15 Gbps full-duplex of cell traffic and
provides non-blocking throughput on all interfaces.
The module supports up to 22 OC-12c/STM-4
622-Mbps ATM ports per chassis, up to
44 OC-3c/STM-1 Single-Mode Long Reach ports, and
up to 88 OC-3c/STM-1 155-Mbps SONET/SDH ports
per chassis.
The ATM switch fabric module is a high-performance
ATM switch that is designed to increase the capacity
and manageability of enterprise networks. The
line-rate, non-blocking ATM Switch Fabric module
features highly integrated ASICs that account for its
scalable, leading-edge performance and functionality.
The ATM switch fabric module supports the following
