Is the NIC A or NIC B LED on the Blade PC Illuminated?
Answer
No.
The enclosure power connector for the blade
PC has failed or the enclosure power supply
has failed.
System board (hot swap circuitry) has failed.
SODIMM(s) may not be seated correctly,
SODIMM(s) may be bad, or blade PC system
board may be bad.
The blade PC graphics subsystem has failed.
The blade PC system board has failed.
The blade PC has failed to communicate with
the enclosure during the POST boot cycle.
NIC A or NIC B has failed.
If the health LED on the blade PC is green, go to
LED on the Blade PC Illuminated? on page
Possible Reasons
The NIC is not connected to an active
network connector.
Move the blade PC to a different
bay to see if the blade PC
functions properly. If this corrects
the problem, there is a problem
with the enclosure backplane.
Contact HP or your authorized
service provider for replacement
parts and service.
If the solution above did not
resolve the problem, replace the
blade PC.
Check to see if memory is
present. If so, then try re-seating
the memory and rebooting. If the
error still occurs then try
replacing the memory. Replace
the blade PC if the new memory
produces the same failure result.
Replace the blade PC.
Replace the blade PC.
Remove the blade PC and
reinsert it in the enclosure.
Move the blade PC to a
different bay to see if it may
be an enclosure connector
issue.
