About External Memory

Available External Memory

The conditions of external memories available on this machine are as follows.
- USB flash memory supporting the USB (1.1/2.0) Interface
- FAT32 formatted
- A memory of which size is 2GB or less (a memory of 4GB or higher may not work properly)
- A memory without a security feature (or with the feature disabled)
- A memory that is recognized as one drive by a PC

Detail
In order to print data in the external memory, a hard disk and an image controller are required optionally.

Connecting an external memory

Connect an external memory to the USB connector on the front of this machine.
When the external memory is connected, an icon appears on the bottom of the screen and the following
screen appears.Check it, and then touch [OK].
